Vinyl chloride Ether Copolymer Resin MP-35

The full name of chloroether resin is vinyl chloride-isobutyl vinyl ether copolymer resin, which is polymerized by vinyl chloride monomer, isobutyl vinyl ether monomer and other raw materials. It is mainly used in the field of anti-corrosion coatings and composite inks. As a substitute for chlorinated rubber with carbon tetrachloride solvent method, chloroether resin for anticorrosive coatings is not only nontoxic and environmentally friendly, but also has advantages in coating flexibility, heat resistance, ultraviolet stability, alkali resistance and pulverization resistance, and can be compared with alkyd resin, hard resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin and other additives.

1. Product usage

The full name of chloroether resin is vinyl chloride-isobutyl vinyl ether copolymer resin, which is polymerized by vinyl chloride monomer, isobutyl vinyl ether monomer and other raw materials. Vinyl chloride Ether Copolymer Resin MP-35 is mainly used in the field of anti-corrosion coatings and composite inks. As a substitute for chlorinated rubber with carbon tetrachloride solvent method, chloroether resin for anticorrosive coatings is not only nontoxic and environmentally friendly, but also has advantages in coating flexibility, heat resistance, ultraviolet stability, alkali resistance and pulverization resistance, and can be compared with alkyd resin, hard resin, acrylic resin, epoxy resin and other additives.

Plasticizer is miscible, and its comprehensive anticorrosion performance index is higher than that of chlorosulfonated polyethylene and chlorinated rubber coatings, so it is widely used in the following anticorrosion coatings:

(1) Industrial anticorrosive coatings, such as factory buildings, equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, municipal engineering harbors and docks, etc.

(2) Marine coatings are suitable for all parts of the hull and can resist sunlight exposure and seawater erosion well.

(3) Transport coatings, in addition to containers, there are transport machinery and dangerous goods tankers.

(4) Light metal bottom and top coat, such as garage doors and windows, roof rain gutters, balconies, lamp posts and highway anti-collision isolation boards.

(5) Large key projects, such as bridges, ocean engineering and energy engineering.

Application

MP-15

Suitable for thick-form paint and performs well under acidic and alkaline conditions, such as swimming pools, construction, bridges, and road marking.

MP-25

Extensively used for heavy anti-corrosive paint, such as steel structures, container paint, marine coatings, and industrial anti-corrosive paint.

MP-35

 Thicker than CMP25, which is used for anti-corrosive paint on light metals like aluminum and zinc.

MP-45

Specifically designed for solvent-based gravure ink and plastic composite ink (OPP & PE)

MP-60

Used for special inks or metal adhesives.

5. Matters needing attention in storage and transportation (use)

Under the influence of its own glass transition temperature, chloroether resin is easy to cause caking in harsh storage or transportation environments such as heavy pressure, high temperature, exposure to sunlight and humidity. Therefore, when storing and transporting products, please strictly implement the following requirements: transportation should be closed, avoid extrusion, avoid heat sources and humid environment. Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, and pay attention to moistureproof, sun protection and high temperature protection. When using, the operator should wear the self-priming filter dust mask, stay away from fire and heat sources, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Use good ventilation system and equipment to avoid dust and contact with oxidant. When handling, handle lightly to prevent the packaging and containers from being damaged.
