KLT Aldehyde resin A-101

Kabasph Aldehyde resin A 101 is condensed products from urea and aliphatic aldehydes, which improves gloss, hardness, body adhesion, and resistance to yellowing. Because of Aldehyde Resin A 101’ excellent solubility and compatibility. Aldehyde Resin A 101 is recommended for applications such as grinding resin for universal pigment paste, Interior/exterior general industrial metal coating, Automotive OEM paint, Ink, wood coating, Powder coatings and so on.

Description:

KLT Aldehyde resin A-101 is a kind of aldehyde condensation resin, which is colorless or yellowish. It is soluble in almost paint solvents but not in water and compatible with almost coating raw materials, it is excellently yellowing-resistant.

It is usually as grinding resin in universal pigment dispersion and applied widely in coating formulation. It can effectively improve adhesion, hardness, gloss, solid content of paint and fullness of coatings. It is a kind of excellent multifunctional additive to coating/painting.

Solubility:

KLT Aldehyde Resin A-101 is soluble in almost common paint solvents such as aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, esters and so on but insoluble in water. Its solubility in nonpolar solvents such as mineral oil, aliphatic hydrocarbon, alicyclic hydrocarbon is limited

Application:

KLT aldehyde resin has excellent compatibility and solubility, applicable for various sorts of coatings/oil ink formulas; Effectively to improve coating film’s yellowingresistance, gloss, adhesiveness, har-dness and gloss.
Good pigment and filler wetting function, applicable for allpurpose colorant’s grinding resin thanks to its low viscosity while being dissolved or melted;
KLT Non-Benzene and KLT A101 NonBenzene especially applicable for environment-friendly coatings/oil ink formulas thanks to their being free of benzene, toluene and xylene.
Dissolved into solvents to prepare 50% resin liquid, then added it into coatings/oil ink formulas. Generally adding percentage is 5-30% of the formula’s total mass.
