Curing agent or crosslinking is the mechanism in which a functional entity (single molecule or functionality part of an oligomer, pre-polymer or polymer) reacts during the polymerization process with the other elements to be incorporated in the new polymer chains system.There are various crosslinking methods, and curing agents that can improve the polymerization mechanism. Sometimes, curing agents are absolutely required to reach the final coating’s characteristics. 1. Description:

K7104 is an accelerated DICY curing agent for epoxy, which is applied for thick film decorative or functional epoxy powder coatings, such as pipeline coatings, rebar coatings,FBE coatings etc. It can achieve mild temperature curing(140℃) or quick curing. Impart the film excellent mechanical properties and good chemical resistance.

3. Characteristics:

Provide 140℃/15min low temperature curing or 240℃/30s fast curing.
Applied for thick film decorative coating or functional epoxy powder coating, impart the film excellent mechanical properties and good chemical resistance.

Premix K7104 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
The use level is 3-5 parts per100 parts of epoxy resin (E.E.W 700~900) by weight.

7. Package & Storage

Packaging with PE lined fiber drums. Net weight 20kg/25kg per drum.
Store in temperature below 25℃ or cool dry place to avoid wetting-absorption. Keep away from heat and fire.
