        4. Features

LD-1161 has become one of the most widely used classic dispersants for solvent based coatings due to its excellent dispersion ability. It is especially suitable for dispersing high performance yellow and red organic pigments with excellent transparency.

For some highly surface treated pigments, LD-1161 may have average effect due to difficult adsorption. At this time, it may have a good effect to use pigments of the same specification without surface treatment. LD-1161 is recommended for in-dustrial coatings such as automobile repair paint and wood paint. LD-1161 is also suitable for later addition to adjust the difference between batches. At this time, high shear force needs to be added slowly. LD-1161 relieves the flocculation of pigments through the space barrier effect. It provides equal charge to pigments, so it can avoid the possibility of co flocculation of pigments with unequal charge. Since the particles of the anti flocculating pigment are very small, it can achieve high gloss and improve the tinting power, and also enhance the transparency and hiding pow-er. LD-1161 reduced viscosity, improved leveling and increased pigment content.
