LD-1291S is a common additive in solvent paints, which is especially effective in the paints on basis of the following resins: alkyd resin, alkyd/ amino resin, acrylic acid and epoxy resin, chlorinated rubber/polymerized oil and so on. Some linear resins with hydroxyl (such as DESMOPHEN resin from BAYER Co., Ltd.) can be thixotropic when they are used together with LD-1291S. Except that LD-1291S is a kind of effective dispersion, it can obviously reduce rusting tendency on the bottom of coating, especially brushing anti-corrosion paint on wetting surface like iron and steel. It can lower crust possibility and improve fluidity when it is in oil based coating or even when tung oil exsists.

 LD-1292 can be used for Coil coatings, industrial coatings, furniture coatings, architectural coatings, bentonite predispersion.

3. As preformed gel of organobentonite

1. LD-1291S is an excellent gel additive of organically modified bentonite, it has some advantages as bellow:

• Can reach pumping’s gel consistency

• Easy to add into paint

• Improve gel’s stability

• Preformed gel can be added later

• Easy to disperse

• Have effect on anti-sinking and anti-floating

1. Preparation formula of performed gel:

80-87%   solvent (200# solvent gasoline, xylene, tolunene)

8-10%    organically modified bentonite

3-10%   LD-1291S

1. LD-1292 is a standard wetting and dispersing agent for solvent based wood paint, industrial paint and architectural paint primer. It has excellent and irreplaceable effect of preventing hard precipitation. When used for preparing organic bentonite pre gel, the effect is excellent.

4. Storage and packaging

LD-1291S: 50kg enhanced plastic bucket or according to guests’ requirement. Stored sealed under normal temperature indoor for one year. Color change will not affect the quality.

LD-1292: There may be turbidity or precipitation during long-term storage, and the performance will not be affected. 25kg net weight in plastic or iron drums. Shelf life: 1 year from the date of production.
