Curing agent or crosslinking is the mechanism in which a functional entity (single molecule or functionality part of an oligomer, pre-polymer or polymer) reacts during the polymerization process with the other elements to be incorporated in the new polymer chains system. There are various crosslinking methods, and curing agents that can improve the polymerization mechanism. Sometimes, curing agents are absolutely required to reach the final coating’s characteristics. Between all the varieties of crosslinking chemistries, learn how to select the best curing agent for your coating formulations. With the R&D and applicant experience in China, we come up with series of Kabasph curing agent or harder for Epoxy resin, polymer resin, hybrid, polyurethane and so on!

6. Use method & levels
Equivalent weight of this product is approx 310. It is recommended to cure with hydroxyl polymer in equivalent amount (15:85 for polyester with hydroxyl value of 30; 22:78 for polyester with hydroxyl value of 50). Tin-based catalysts can significantly improve coating mechanical properties and solvent resistance.
Unsealing temperature of this product is above 170℃, so it is recommended to fully cure at 180℃*20min or 200℃ * 15min.
7. Package & Storage
Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 25kg per bag.
Store in temperature under 32℃ and cool dry place to avoid caking. Keep package closed after using. Keep
away from heat and fire.
Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
