They can also affect mechanical properties such as slip and impact resistance and aesthetic effects, including matting and texturing.
Kabasph has developed a number of unique wax additives to protect a high-gloss powder coating surface from abrasion damage without impacting the gloss or inducing haze in the coating. Processing aids based on wax additives are available to enhance the powder feeding process during spray application, minimize static effects, and enhance degassing properties over varying metal surfaces. SA500 is a micro wax based slip and degassing agent developed especially for powder coatings, which can be used as a slip promoter or a substitute of benzoin in various coating system.

3. Characteristics:
Aid to reduce coating meltflow viscosity and improve wetting of resin binder to substrate and pigment dispersing properties. Therefore, the smooth surface and better appearance can be obtained.
Can be used as a substitute of benzoin in powder coatings to impart better degassing and less yellowing effects. Especially, used in β-HAA system,to provide weather-resistant coating with more satisfied properties such as film thickness up to 100μm without air-bubble.
Due to its own lubricating character, improve the anti-caking and sieve passing properties of coating powder and prevent blockage of spray gun simultaneously.
Exhibit good anti-mar property at proper added amounts.

Premix SA500 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
The use level is 0.5- 1.0% by total weight of formula.
7. Package & Storage
Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 20kg per bag.
Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool and dry place. Keep package closed after using. Keep away from heat and fire.
Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
