SA2072 Economical Textured additive for powder coatings

Powder coatings are one of the most environmentally friendly coating systems. They are 100% solid and they contain no harmful VOC´s. Kabasph offers a wide range of additives for powder coatings that improve leveling, prevent craters and enhance degassing and pigment wetting. A special range of additives is used to improve processing conditions and other types provide structured or textured surfaces. Kabasph provides highly efficient texturing agent for powder coatings. It provides uniform surface texture combined with excellent matting efficiency at low addition rates.

SA2072 is an pre-dispersion texture additive which can be used in powder coatings to give a fine grained finish surface. for household appliances,IT equipments, office appliances, playground equipments and other industrial applications.

3. Characteristics:

Be applicable to any powder coating systems such as pure epoxy, hybrid, PES/TGIC or PES/HAA and PU etc, to provide a special texture finish with fine-grained surface.

Flow modifier and Benzoin in powder formulation can be omitted or decreased greatly. Therefore, the cost of powder coating is down probably.

6. Use method & levels

Premix SA2072 with other components of the formula before extrusion.

The use level is 0.1 ~0.2% based on the total weight of the formulation.

7. Package & Storage

Packaging with PE lined fiber drums. Net weight 10kg or 20kg per drum.
Store in cool and dry place. Avoid contacting with strong acids, bases and other organic chemicals together. Keep away from heat and fire.
Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
